Delete your Praytify account and data.

This page provides the public web deletion resource required for app review and gives users a way to request account deletion without reinstalling the app.

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Delete inside the app

If you can sign in, open Praytify and go to Settings > Account Management > Delete Account. Confirm the deletion phrase shown in the app. This starts deletion of your account and associated user data.

Request deletion from the web

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@praytify.app with the subject "Praytify Account Deletion Request". Send the email from the address associated with your Praytify account when possible.

  • Include your account email address.
  • Tell us whether you want account deletion or only specific data deleted.
  • Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive third-party credentials.
  • We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion.

What is deleted

  • Account profile information and authentication records controlled by Praytify.
  • Prayer requests, praise reports, reminders, messages, preferences, and associated app data tied to your account, subject to technical and legal limits.
  • Uploaded media and voice recordings associated with your account where controlled by Praytify.
  • Beta signup records tied to the same email when you request full deletion.

What may be retained

  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute, or abuse-prevention reasons.
  • Data already de-identified, aggregated, or separated from your personal identity.
  • Content controlled by a church or organization where deletion requires administrator review, legal retention, or member-record handling.
  • Backups for a limited period until they rotate out of normal backup cycles.

Timing

We aim to process verified deletion requests promptly and generally complete deletion or de-identification within 30 days unless additional time is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or technical reasons.
